Well...I have always felt that way. But, y'all. I have been grieving over cutting off all my hair earlier this year. You might remember what I did from this post HERE and also from my friend, Sarah's post HERE. Two of my best friends, Nikki and Sammi have donated their beautiful, long hair to Locks of Love before and I remember feeling a little jealous that they had the guts to do it. I finally found my inner guts and chopped it off. I sent it off all 10 inches and helped make a wig for a kid. Which, by the way, it takes at least 7 donations {of at least 10 inches of hair} to make ONE wig for a kid. Wow. I would have to donate my hurr 7 times to make just one wig. And I've got a lot of hair!
I know that I did a good thing and it made my heart grow three sizes that day...
But, I'm a Grinch about it lately. I can't regret that decision...right? That would make me a bad and bitter person. I can just miss my hair and
I miss being able to curl my hair and to put it up in a pony tail. I miss being able to get it to lay straight for goodness sakes {I have quite a bit of volume and wave}!
R.I.P. Pony Tail. R.I.P.

Girl I don't blame you. I'd be so sad without my hair! Good for u for donating though!
You made such a wonderful donation with your beautiful hair! I'm planning on doing the same thing after my wedding!! It will grow back!!! You just made a huge difference in some child's life!
I have been going back and forth about chopping my hair after the wedding, but then I know I might regret it. So confused!
My best friend has a disorder called "trichotillomania" and she needs to wear wigs like the one you helped make. Trust me, what you did was righteous, and well worth it. Anyway, if you hadn't done it, I can almost guarantee you would have constantly thought about. So even if you don't want to do it again, at least now you know! Also, I think that a lot of girls use long hair as a crutch, and having the guts to chop it off shows confidence. Don't count the days until it grows back. Try to teach yourself to love the short hair and before you know it.... you'll be putting it back in a ponytail. ;]
