I don’t have dreams very often. If I do, they are not vivid enough to remember. However, this past week, I woke up super early (on summer break, yes…bummer) in one of those cold, clammy sweats. I was breathing heavy and felt terrified. I lay there thinking why this happened to me. Then it all started coming back to me. Like I said, my dreams are not usually vivd enough to remember, but this time was definitely different. This was the dream:
I was staying in a hotel in downtown Nashville. I had a nice view of Broadway from my room and it was a nice hotel. There was only one problem with the hotel. Zombies. Yep. You read that right, no reason to go back and look…zombies. Who dreams about zombies?! They were everywhere in this hotel and they were unescapable. The first zombie sighting was when I opened the door of my hotel room. They were everywhere in the hallway. They were all walking “Michael Jackson Thriller” style. There was no MJ background music, though. Sad, I know. Then when I ran to the elevator and pushed the button frantically (which must be why I woke up sweating…I don’t run), the doors to the elevator opened and it was full of zombies! Strange thing was that they were all men zombies. Do women zombies even exist? Or do I not believe in women zombies, similar to how I feel about women playing basketball? So, anyway…here I was in this nice hotel and I spent my day running from zombies. *Side note: I have stayed at this hotel several times and never have I spotted a zombie. Next time I will have an escape plan.
I think I might go purchase the “Zombie Survival Guide”. I attached it below if anyone wants to get me a nice summer gift.
