Where do you draw your strength? Who is the strongest person that you know or have ever known? These are questions that are running through my mind today. The strongest person that I have ever known is my Granny. She died when I was a freshman in high school. Although I was young when she died, I remember watching her fight for her life.
Granny had lung cancer. She went through chemo and became sick and lost her hair. Despite the trials that she was put through and the suffering she endured, she fought. She fought harder than any of us fought for her. Maybe it was so that we didn't have to fight so hard.
So, where do you draw your strength? Is is God or another higher power? Is it your family or your friends? Is it even someone who has passed away many years ago, as it is for me.
Not a single day goes by that I don't think about Granny and miss her. But, on the other hand, not a single day goes by that I don't think of her and find strength.

Why, Hello!
I'm not EVEN going to make an excuse for my absence. I have really enjoyed not blogging...not reading your blogs (sorry)...not worrying about facebook, twitter, email, etc. I have taken a technology sabbatical. And I LOVED it. Maybe even needed it. It's like this. I love having followers, but it's not why I write. I write for myself. I had fallen into the whole, "What if I write about this??" "What will my followers think??" All few of ya! Well, excuses no more!! My first post back, I have decided should just be picture overload. What have I done? Let me just show you! I have been on a bachelorette weekend, to my high school 10 year reunion, out with friends, and catching some rays....afterall, it is summa summa summa tiiiiiime. This weekend will be spent with my family, some close friends, and then Matt's family. It's gonna be a good one. And guess what?? Thursday, I leave for England!!!! WOOOOOOT!
